H999--Elevator Inspection Services for The Phoenix and Albuquerque VA Medical Centers

The contractor shall: Shall provide all annual, and semi-annual inspections, and five-year inspections and testing, for both medical centers vertical transportation systems. This will include all current elevators and any additional non-constructed elevators put into service after new or remodeled building construction upon the government s request/direction. Inspect new elevators per applicable codes and regulations in force at the time of elevator construction. Comply with all applicable current and future laws and regulations related to the repair and maintenance of all elevators for these medical centers. Provide an inspector that meets the ANSI/ASME QEI-1 Standard for the Qualification of Elevator Inspectors. The Phoenix elevators inspected under this requirement include, but are not limited to: Motion Controlled Traction Kone Elevators Motion Controlled EECO Single Piston Elevators Single Piston Hydraulic Otis Elevators Hydraulic/Kone/Montgomery Elevators Otis Traction Food Service Elevators Hollister-Whitney Elevator Co., LLC Hydraulic Elevators The Albuquerque elevators inspected under this requirement include, but are not limited to: Traction elevators manufactured by US Elevator Corp., Otis, and Courion (Dumbwaiter) Industries Hydraulic elevators manufactured by US Elevator Corp., Otis, Dover, and Thyssen
