| Description | This project consists of a base bid and an additional alternate bid. The base bid will consist of the furnishing of all equipment, labor, and materials for the reconstruction of the Lake County Community Crossings Matching Grant Fund 2020-2: 101st Avenue from State Line Road to Sheffield Avenue and from Sheffield Avenue to Calumet Avenue. The work includes maintenance of traffic; excavation; installation of storm sewer; backfilling; grading; road widening; curb and gutter; driveway aprons; pavement; grass and landscape restoration; pavement markings; and all other related work and appurtenances. The additional alternate bid will consist of the furnishing of all equipment, labor, and materials for the construction of new turn lanes and the construction of a signalized intersection on 101st Avenue (Ex-change Street) and State Line Road. The work includes maintenance of traffic; pavement milling; excavation; installation of storm sewer; backfilling; grading; road widening, traffic signal installation; curb and gutter; driveway aprons; pavement; grass and landscape restoration; pavement markings; and all other related work and appurtenances. |
