Description | The Stockbridge-Munsee Community a federally recognized Indian tribe's Safety Workgroup (hereby the "Workgroup") is seeking proposals for a firm and/or individuals (hereby the Consultant) to provide professional installation of street lighting and safety cameras, project management and expertise services gather input from the Workgroup to purchase and install equipment to increase public lighting and surveillance capabilities in designated areas throughout the Stockbridge-Munsee Community (hereby referred to as "Safety Project"). The Safety Project is being initiated to increase lighting and observation capabilities in areas identified as requiring increased safety measures. The services discussed under this Request for Proposals ("RFP") will be provided on the StockbridgeMunsee Indian Reservation, located in Shawano County, Wisconsin. The Stockbridge-Munsee Community is located within the two Townships of Bartleme and Red Springs in Wisconsin. The Safety Project is to provide professional services that will include development of a plan of action to purchase, and install, up to 30 surveillance cameras and 16 operational streetlights in locations to be designated by the contractor; based on input from the Workgroup. The Workgroup intends to have the Project completed by a third-party, in order to obtain expertise in the area of installation of and purchase of proper equipment selection based on identified needs and most importantly that surveillance equipment does not intrude within community members homes.
