Description

The Contractor shall 1. Mowing shall be weekly from approximately first week in April to the last week in September. Mow section “A & B”, per drawing, the first week grass is mowed and then alternate grass mowing between “A” then “A&B” grass areas from then on, as indicated below. (One week Anext week A & B)(Area “B” is bi-weekly mow only). 2. Mow (grass) areas as shown on the attached drawing. Mowing shall be weekly and start approximately the first week in April until the end of June, (16 scheduled mowings). At that point, the mowing shall be on a call basis until the end of September. 3. Mowing equipment shall be reel, rotary or mulching mower. Blades shall be sharp at all times to provide a high quality cut and minimize disease. Mowing height shall be no lower than 3” inches in accordance to grass type and variety standards. (Areas shown on drawing). 4. Trim with a string trimmer around the buildings, driveway, parking lots, mulched areas, sidewalks, equipment and other stationary objects. Extra care shall be used to not injure trees and plants. 5. Mulching is preferred (as long as no clumping is evident) or bag as needed to remove excess clippings, leaves or other debris. 6. Use a broom or a blower to remove clippings from the parking areas, driveways and sidewalks. 7. Remove weeds or grass growing in shrubbery areas or mulch-covered areas. 8. Edge all sidewalks and other edges as necessary
