Description

The City of Beacon (City) owns and operates a wastewater collection system and storm sewer collection system. The City has identified approximately 482 linear feet of 48" diameter storm sewer line as a part of this cleaning and televising project, as shown on the included aerial plan. It is the Contractor's responsibility to obtain and comply with all work restrictions. Contractor shall by-pass pump storm sewer flows to allow for the proper cleaning and televising of the storm sewer lines. Contractor shall take all necessary measures to ensure that sufficient pumping is provided to prevent any back-ups within the existing storm sewer line and ensure that overflows do not occur at manholes up stream of the line to be by-passed. No work shall be allowed during high tide, wet weather conditions, nor the day after any wet weather.
