Description | Contractor Qualification - DCAMM Certificate Elevators 3 & 4 Modernization at Cardinal Medeiros Towers, 1197 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. The Project consists of modernization of two passenger elevators, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, plumbing and fire protection systems. Deadline for submitting General Contractor Bid questions: Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 5:00 PM In general, the Contractor shall supply all material, labor, equipment, insurance, temporary protection, tools and appliances necessary for the proper completion of the Work as described in the Plans and Specifications, in accordance with good construction practice, and as required by the materials manufacturers. B. Supply all shoring and protection necessary to protect the occupants, building area, building systems, and landscape areas. All means and methods are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor is solely responsible for safety on the job site. A. Remove and dispose of all existing elevator components scheduled for replacement at Elevators #3 & #4. b. Install new elevator components as scheduled for Elevators #3 & #4. c. Coordinate with related activities of GC and other trades, including but not limited to: 1) Related non-elevator demolition. 2) Cleaning of floor grilles and installation of new mesh floor screens in elevator machine room. 3) Infill of abandoned sump pits and related concrete work 4) Elevator pit waterproofing. 5) Masonry work for modifications to existing walls in elevator machine room. 6) Installation of new door in elevator machine room. 7) Construction of 2-hour rated gypsum board assembly shaft wall in machine room. 8) Plastering and painting for lobby walls after removal and installation of new hallway equipment. 9) Preparation and Painting of steel supports in pit. 10) Painting of elevator machine room door, walls, and floor. 11) Installation of prefabricated fiberglass sump pits and sump pumps/ |
