Broadway and Plaza Intersection and Signal Reconstruction Project

This project consists of the reconstruction of the concrete intersection at Broadway and Plaza Drive in Highlands Ranch, including the replacement of the existing traffic signal at this intersection. Work includes the removal and replacement of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, concrete pavement and curb ramps, removal of the existing traffic signals, construction of a new signalized intersection including setting new traffic signal poles and mast arms provided by Douglas County, and associated work. Bid items include traffic signal components, erosion control items, aggregate base course, and pavement markings, construction surveying, topsoil, sod, and irrigation. The Project includes the following major items and approximate quantities: approximately 3,400 square yards of concrete pavement and curb ramps approximately 620 linear feet of curb, gutter, and sidewalk 434 L.F. of 2” electrical conduit 296 L.F. of 3” electrical conduit 488 L.F. of 2” electrical conduit (bored) 472 L.F. of 3” electrical conduit (bored).
