Boilers Replacements

The Port Chester Housing Authority invites sealed bids from contractors for boilers replacements. The project consists of the removal of the old steam boiler and replacement with a new steam boiler and water tanks at 45 Traverse Avenue, Port Chester, NY. Additionally, at 9 Weber Drive, removal of the old hot water boiler and replacement with a new boiler and associated work, i.e, replacement of (2) 3hp frame pumps and installation of an Energy Management System to monitor and control heat at 9 Weber Drive, Port Chester, NY. Connect both boilers with fuel piping, install electrical and control wiring,, commissioning of both boilers upon completion of equipment installation. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount. The contract includes $250/day liquidated damages. All bidders must be regularly engaged in the business of the item that he bids upon. Each bidder must have adequate personnel, equipment, materials, plant capacity and/or delivery capacity to properly execute the item that he bids.
