City of New Brighton Project 21-11, Robin Lane Traffic Calming Sealed proposals for furnishing of the necessary labour, materials, and equipment for City Project 21-11, Robin Lane Traffic Calming which consists of the removal and replacement of the existing curb line, removal and replacement of portions of the bituminous surface, installation of new concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway installation, pedestrian ramp improvements, storm sewer improvements, and boulevard repair. This work includes approximately: 900 SY Bituminous Surface Removal 1,120 LF Curb and Gutter Removal 200 SY Remove Concrete Driveway Pavement 1,100 LF Saw cut Bituminous (Full Depth) 300 TON Aggregate Base Class 5 30 TON Bituminous Wearing Course 50 TON Bituminous Non-Wearing Course 5,000 SF Concrete Walk 350 SY Concrete Driveway Pavement 1,050 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter Design S412 1 LS Traffic Control Plus miscellaneous and incidental work. e proposed contract documents, and shall be addressed to: Craig Schlichting, P.E. City Engineer City of New Brighton 803 - Old Highway 8 NW New Brighton, Minnesota 55112 and endorsed with: (Name of Bidder) City Project 21-11, Robin Lane Traffic Calming Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit; a Responsible Contractor Certificate; an Equal Employment Opportunity Certification; and a certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of New Brighton in the amount of 5% of the bid as a guarantee that such bidder will enter into a contract with said City, in accordance with the terms of such letting and bid in case such bidder be awarded a contract. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids. The right is reserved to accept any bid, or to reject any or all bids. Plus miscellaneous and incidental work, all in accordance with the plans and specifications, will be received at the Office of the City Engineer in the City of New Brighton until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, then publicly opened and read aloud.
