Description | **As of August 1, 2022, no bids received, no information for rebid.** Midway City Sanitary District Solar Carport General Work Description: New 20' x 214' carport structure to support a solar array New solar panels to be mounted on the carport structure to annually produce 140MWh. All equipment required to connect solar array to existing switchgear, including wiring, inverters and all necessary equipment to send power to the existing electrical system. Wiring from the carport array to the existing switchgear. NOTE: underground conduit will be provided by Owner from the east end of the carport to the switchgear. 4 new EV Charging stations and power feed for 4 future EV Charging Stations. Demolition for canopy foundations, patch, repair, slurry and restripe parking area under canopy. Plan submittal and Permits from the City of Westminster, SCE, and Net Energy Mete- ring Interconnection Request for the proposed carport and/or array. Notifications to be sent to the District and Contractor/Installer. NOTE: Planning Department has the installation of a carport and array, Building permits by Contractor. Submit plans to MCSD prior to City submittal for approval. Construction on-site mobilization for the canopy will not commence until the current un- derground construction is completed (estimated 9/15/2022). The District will remain in operation during the construction. Contract Time. Time of completion for the Project shall be one hundred (100) calendar days established from the Notice to Proceed. Contractors License Requirement. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 3300 and Business & Professions Code section 7030.5, the Contractor must possess a valid Class B Contractors License at the time of the bid opening and specify its license number. Payment of General Prevailing Rate Requirement. The Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Project Workforce Agreement. Midway City Sanitary District has entered into a Project Workforce Agreement with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council applicable to this Project, which is included within the Instructions to Bidders. |
