Description | As of April 24, 2023, this project was awarded to Quigg Brothers, awarded amount is $566,031.39. The proposal consists of repairing deteriorated portions of pile caps located below Berths A and B at Port of Grays Harbor Terminal 4, per Engineers recommendation. The site is located in Aberdeen WA. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as specified. Award will take into consideration the lowest total price to provide the services specified along with qualifications and experience of the bidder and the Ports budget capability. Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) rules DO APPLY to this project. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. In accordance with RCW 42.56.100 and Port of Grays Harbor Resolution 2973, the Port makes the following rule: Public Bid Guidelines require that the Port of Grays Harbor maintain the integrity of official bid documents sets, provide swift response when incorporating addenda changes, and communicate in a singular, fair, and equitable manner to registered bidders. This process would interfere with the Ports obligations to maintain the integrity of the bid records if the Port were required to relinquish control over the bid documents during the bidding period |
