2022 Road Resurfacing

The work is known officially as "The City of Brookfield 2022 Road Resurfacing Project No. R-22-01 LRIP" and shall consist of furnishing and applying a plant mixed bituminous pavement on specified City streets in the City of Brookfield for the calendar year 2022 in accordance with the requirements of the Board of Public Works. A portion of this project is part of the Local Roads Improvement Project (LRIP). Major Items of Work - Approximate Quantities. 16,000 Ton - Bituminous Concrete Pavement 80,000 S.Y. - Milling 40,000 S.Y. - Pulverizing & Shaping The thickness and width of asphalt will vary for each street. The location of application and whether a street requires milling or pulverizing will be determined by the Engineer. A preliminary map of streets to be resurfaced as part of this project is included. Some streets may require curb and gutter, culvert replacement, water main, sidewalk, sanitary or storm sewer work, manhole adjustment/reconstruction, street lighting, or ditching work to be done by others. Any work of this type, to be done by others, shall be coordinated by the Engineer, and completed prior to the start of the paving or milling operations.
