| Description | This sale is a marked thinning of approximately 254 acres of planted slash pine on the Astor Tract of Lake George State Forest in Volusia County, Florida. All timber to be harvested is marked with blue paint. Unmarked timber is not to be harvested or damaged. Previous loading ramps and skid trails will be use, unless otherwise approved by the forester-in-charge. The sale boundaries will consist of roads, firelines, or wetlands. The estimated pine volume to be removed is 4,603 tons of pulpwood and better. This will be a twelve (12) month contract. |
