Description | The Work includes selective site demolition, paving, erosion and sedimentation controls, educational signage, ADA signage and parking striping, and turfgrass seeding as shown on the Drawings. The project is located at the Salisbury Community Park known as Gap Park on White Horse Road (Route 897). Project Location: Salisbury Township Community Park (Gap Park) 750 White Horse Rd, Gap, PA 17527 All Work related to the demolition, subbase preparation, procurement and installation of the playground equipment, and surfacing of the playground is to be completed by others and is not part of the Work described within this bid. The timing of the Work included herein will need to be coordinated with the playground installation work that is not included. Therefore, the Owner (Salisbury Township) and the Contractor shall coordinate further on the material procurement and construction schedule after the contract is awarded. All questions must be submitted through electronically. Clarification deadline 11/28/2022 12:00 PM A Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to Salisbury Township (Owner) shall accompany each proposal, to be forfeited in liquidated damages should the bidder default in execution of the contract within 180 days after award of same. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after bid opening. The Owner shall award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder or reject all bids within sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening; provided, however, if the award is delayed by the required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds, easement acquisition or the award of a grant, the Owner shall reject all bids or award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder within one-hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987) as amended. The Salisbury Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid. |
