Project No. 6483-00 For the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary or incidental to "Construction of UtilityImprovements for Windmill Farms 6B, Forney Texas ETJ, Kaufman County, Texas." 1. Approximately 10,000 LF of 8-inch water line and all appurtenances 2. Approximately 8,700 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer and all appurtenances 3. Approximately 6,700 LF of 18-inch RCP through 7'x4' RCBC storm sewer pipe and appurtenances There will be NO PRE-BID CONFERENCE. Given the state of emergency due to COVID-19, the Federal guidelines of not gathering in groups of more than 10 people, people who want to attend the bid opening must do so byMicrosoft TEAMS.Microsoft TEAMS is free downloadable application for computer and cellular devices. A calendar invite will be sent to all plan holders listed on CivCast.com for access to the bid opening. There are two options to participate: 1. For those of you who wish to view the opening, the calendar invite will contain a link to join the TEAMS meeting. With this link you can see the opening online If you do not receive the calendar invite because you are not a formal plan holder on CivCast, please emaillbell@bgeinc.com and the invite will be forwarded to you no later than 2 hours before the bid opening Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor The deadline to ask questions is 10/28/2022 12:00 PM CDT The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
