The West Branch Maintenance Office is in need of remodeling to include drywall, lighting, flooring, and other services. The only amendment to the project is the timeline. Work to be complete by March 31, 2023. Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive. Contractor will supply all materials and labor to complete the following: Tear out built-in shelving. Take down trim Haul away all debris - a dumpster may be placed on site. Drywall over the existing walls and ceiling - requires some repair particularly in on corner of the ceiling. Prep and paint walls with a mutually agreed upon Sherwin Williams Paint. Color to be determined by park manager. Add LED ceiling lights where appropriate to make the office bright and workable. Currently there are three light fixtures; a minimum of 4 is required. Install needed switches. Add a ceiling fan into existing wiring Add emergency lighting and exit signs Build in an L shaped countertop - sides are approximately 6' and 16' in length - with a few spaced 36" cabinets and room underneath for three computer work-stations. Replace one wooden interior door and widen to a 36" frame. Replace one wooden interior door and shrink double door opening to a 36" frame Please bid as a separate line item the refinishing of the concrete flooring with an epoxy finish using a Sherwin Williams product. Color to be determined by park manager. Project Background - West Branch State Park is a large day use and overnight park with a large maintenance staff to care for the ground and facilities. The maintenance office is in disrepair and in need of some remodeling to make it a clean and comfortable place for staff to conduct their office functions.
