Description

With this Notice Inviting Bids, Lake Arrowhead Community Services District ("District") is requesting prices from Suppliers for the major mechanical equipment to be included in the WWPS 7 Diesel Bypass Pump Assembly Procurement Project - Project No. 237 Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked on the outside, upper left-hand, as follows: Bid of: (Supplier's Name) For: Provision of WWPS 7 Diesel Bypass Pump Assembly Procurement Project, Project No. 237. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids shall not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. The bidder shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their bid in proper time. Please note that delivery to the mountain area is limited, so time should be allotted for timely delivery. A bidder may withdraw its bid(s), either personally or by written request, at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. For this purpose, the bidders shall present documents of identity satisfactory to the District. Any request to withdraw a bid shall be so worded so as not to reveal the amount of the original bid. Withdrawn bids may be resubmitted until the scheduled time for receipt of bids, so long as the resubmitted bids are in full conformance with these Bid Instructions. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, a bidder may not withdraw its bid until the expiration of ninety (90) calendar days, after which time a bid may be withdrawn only in writing and in advance of actual award of the Contract. a. See Attachment A for Bid Forms. b. No bid will be considered unless it is made upon such forms and submitted containing all of the documents contained in Attachment A. Deviations in the Bid Forms may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. c. The Bid Forms shall be executed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and as stipulated in the bidding documents. d. As stated in the Bid Forms, by signing the Bid Forms the bidder represents that the statements made in the Bid Forms and related documents are true and correct and subject to penalty of perjury under California law. All bids submitted shall be executed by the Bidder or its authorized representative. a. The work consists of supplying the major mechanical equipment to be included in the WWPS 7 Diesel Bypass Pump Assembly Procurement Project, Project No. 237, as more specifically described in the Bidding Schedule and the Technical Specifications. b. See Attachment B for Technical Specifications. a. The award of the Contract shall be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder as determined from the BASE BID. All prospective bidders are hereby alerted that a waiting period of up to ninety (90) calendar days from time of bid opening may be required before proceedings are completed and written Notice of Award is made. Bids shall be valid for 90 calendar days. b. The District hereby reserves the right to act in the best interest of the District by rejecting any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularity in the bids. c. Submission of a bid constitutes a firm offer to deliver the materials at the price stated. This offer shall remain in effect for ninety (90) calendar days following the bid opening. a. The Supplier will deliver equipment to 27307 State Highway 189 Suite 101, Blue Jay California 92317. b. It has been determined that the damage sustained by the District as a result of "Supplier's breach of his agreement to complete work within the time agreed upon may result in damages of $1,000.00 per calendar day a.
