Sumter County C-466 and Preston Drive Signal Construction

This project consists of installing signal equipment at the intersection of C-466 and Preston Drive. The project will consist of the installation of four mast arms, signal cabinet and hardware, traffic signals, video detection, and all other equipment necessary to make the signalized intersection operational. C-466 is an urban five-lane divided highway in The Villages, Sumter County, Florida. The intersection of C-466 at Preston Drive is located roughly 11 miles east of I-75. C-466 consists of an 11.5-foot wide curbed median, two-foot wide curb and gutter, and no paved shoulders. C-466 consists of an eastbound left-turn lane as well as a westbound left-turn lane. Preston Drive is an urban two-lane road that consists of a 16-foot wide concrete median north of C-466 and a 17-foot wide concrete median south of C-466
