The building contains offices, conference rooms, restrooms, stairs, elevator, janitor closets and storage areas. The shop area is 12,792 SF, single story. This portion is used for vehicle repair in addition to heavy equipment repairs. The site area has parking, covered parking and storage area. The building will have an automatic fire sprinkler system. Building is to be completed with structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and civil site work including landscaping. Project cost range is anticipated to be $10,000,000.00 to 12,000,000.00 There are Alternate Bids required: Alternate 1: All asphalt paving with base course, as shown on the site plan in gray. This includes roads at the perimeter of the site and interior parking areas. Under the general contract include all concrete walks, curbs and grading of this area. Alternate 2: North end of the site, the storage building, with foundation and electrical; the vehicle heavy equipment roof, with foundation and electrical; concrete material bunkers; including asphalt paving and base course in this alternate. All parking lot lighting to remain in base bid. Alternate 3: Roof mounted Photovoltaic Panels as shown on sheet A3.02, and specifications section 26 3100. Alternate to include PV Laminates, PV Modules, Charge Controllers, Inverters, Mounting Structures. Alternate 4: Site Tree Removal refer to Specification Section 31 1000. This section includes tree cutting, stump removal, limb removal, and stacking tree trunks for Tribal removal from site. *Answers to Questions Some of you have already been asking great questions. The official answers will be included in Addendum 2 but here are the unofficial answers from the design team... Sheet A11.01 shows a (2) 14 diameter HVLS fans, but I didn't see a specification for the ceiling fans. Can you point in the correct direction or are these being owner supplied - These 2 fans are part of the Vehicle Equipment Bid. Sheet A12.01 has details for (2) additional OH coiling doors on that North Storage Building. I didn't see mention of those doors (Doors 100B & 100C) listed in the specifications. These Overhead Coiling Doors are speced in Section 08 3323. Alternate #2. I guess my only question on those (2) 12x14 doors is do they need to have floor induction loops (similar to door 101A) or should they mimic door's like (109A) - These doors to mimic door 109A. Bullpen 125 notes VT-1/2 on the finish schedule, but CPT-1 on the finish plan, which is correct - VT-1/2 is correct. Reception 122 notes CPT-1, VT-1/2 on the finish schedule, but PT-1, VT-1/2 on the finish plan, which is correct - CPT-1 is the correct floor finish. Breakroom 308 West shows FRP-2 at the backsplash however the shading appears to be paint, and FRP is not on the schedule for that room, please clarify backsplash material in that location FRP-2 is the correct finish at the backsplash and side walls. Women's 107/Men's 106: Please confirm if wall tile should run behind lockers or not Tile will stop at the top of the lockers. Tile Spec notes the use of Dilex-EHK at Inside Corners, and Dilex-AHK from floor to wall tile joints, however I do not see this noted in the details/plans, please confirm if these pieces are required or if that is boiler plate spec language and should be excluded. These tile metal joints are required on all tile applications. Please confirm if rubber stringers are required at stairwells; details are unclear No, rubber stringers are not required at any steel stringer. These will be painted. *Addendum 1 and 2 have been released. All questions regarding the Contract Documents are to be directed to Dan Whittaker, at the office of the Architect, Womer & Associates. 509.534.4884 or by cell 509.481.8931. Email: danw@wwomer.com
