Description

The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for the purchase of In-Place paving services, as needed, for the Ulster County Department of Public Works. The actual roadways to be paved will be determined by the Commissioner of Public Works. This bid also includes pavement milling services as an option. The vendor will furnish all necessary materials, equipment and labor to accomplish the anticipated work. The anticipated work includes the construction signage and electronic message boards; the maintenance and protection traffic (flagging); the cleaning and preparation of the existing roadway; the cold planning of all intersecting roadways joints and asphalt driveways; the application of tack coat, the hauling of asphalt; the placement and compaction of the asphalt; and temporary and permanent pavement markings.
