Description | Project Description: The Project consists of the alteration of existing food service area to renovate 700 square feet with new food service equipment, finishes, cabinetry, and doors. Bid Packages Contained in this Advertisement for: Bid Bid Package No. 01 - Architectural Wood Casework Bid Package No. 02 - Gypsum Board Assemblies Bid Package No. 03 - Glazing Bid Package No. 04 - Restaurant Equipment Bid Package No. 05 - Electrical Bid Package No. 06 - Plumbing Availability of Bidding Documents: Contract documents will be on file at the Construction Manager's Office. Bidders may also obtain electronic access to bid documents by applying to the office of the Construction Manager. The intent of this conference is to answer questions that relate to the contract documents and/or performance of the work and familiarize the bidders with the location and requirements of the project site. Note: Bids for miscellaneous materials and scopes of work not defined by a bid package above and who's value does not exceed $50,000 may be emailed directly to the Construction Manager. Additional bid packages may be issued at a later date as required. Women-owned and minority business enterprises are encouraged to participate in this project. The Owner has the right to reject any or all bids. *****Do not submit your bid via Procore, please follow the instructions in the bidding documents.***** Question Deadline 11/09/2022 at 4:00 PM CT **Message from the CM** I have received a few questions from contractors, if you have others, please send them my way so that I can include them in the upcoming addendum. One question asked by a few was regarding the automatic sliding doors. This door opening has been modified to meet ADA requirements and will be reflected in the addendum. There will also be a change to the bid form. On Alternate #2: add new carpet tile flooring in the seating area outside of the Hub, we are requesting that demolition contractors give a separate line item for removing the existing flooring, and that flooring contractors split out demolition, floor prep, and provide/install new flooring. This will also be reflected in the addendum. |
