North Hill Park Development

As of August 1, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Work as depicted in the Drawings including the construction of a site access driveway, site clearing, demolition of asphalt driveways and concrete pads within the limits of disturbance, grading, installation of storm outfall pipes and manholes, construction of ADA trails, walkways, seat wall, concrete pads for benches and picnic tables (tables and benches to be installed by others), multi-use court and play areas The Contractor awarded this bid will also be responsible for coordinating with a separate contractor contracting directly with FCPA, who will construct the pavilion, install site benches and picnic tables, and install mulching and furnishings within the playground and fitness areas. This is a lump sum Contract. Contract length is 240 calendar days All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to the Fairfax County Park Authority, Planning and Development Division, 12055 Government Center Parkway, Suite 421, Fairfax, VA 22035 via email to Alex.Burdick@fairfaxcounty.gov at least seven days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. Bid Security must accompany each proposal in accordance with Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening thereof. The Fairfax County Park Authority of Fairfax County, Virginia reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the Fairfax County Park Authority. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
