Description

Removal and reconstruction of approximately 1.175 miles of fence on the Pahvant Wildlife Management Area in Millard County, Utah (see attached map for project location). This project specifically entails complete removal and re-construction of approximately 3040 feet of 4-strand barbed fence and 3164 feet of removal and replacement of the 4 strands of wire only (posts may remain in ground and be re-used) to the specifications listed below. In addition, two (2) walk through gates (state will provide all materials) will need to be installed. Due to the accessibility of the work site it will be possible for contractors to utilize mobile fencing equipment of their choice due to the ease and accessibility of the terrain. The site consists of long flat stretches of fairly even terrain with occasional washes and small hills and very little rock. A majority of the fence also runs adjacent to or near 2 track roads. Fence location, boundaries, site maps, and access points will be reviewed at a pre-work conference.
