Approval by City Council Sept 2022 If the total bid amount is over $50,000, the successful Bidder will be required to obtain Performance and Payment Bonds per Illinois statutes. Upon notice of acceptance of Bid, the successful Bidder shall, within five (5) calendar days of said notice, furnish to the Procurement Officer a faithful Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond(s) in the full amount of the contract, conditioned upon the faithful performance of all covenants, conditions, and stipulations under the contract. The bond shall be secured by a surety company acceptable to the City, licensed to do business as a Surety in the State of Illinois. The City of Park Ridge reserves the right to disregard any informality in the bids and bidding, to waive technicalities, or to reject any and all bids when, in the opinion of the City Council, the best interest of the City will be served by such action.
