Counties: Miami-Dade Road Name: Pavement Marking - Heft Limits: 87471000 Project(S): 41505155201(*) Federal Aid No: N/a Total Roadway Length: 3.063 Miles Contract Days: 75 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 3.063 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/a Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 14 The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to providethermoplastic pavement markings at various locations on the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (SR 821), from North of SW 40th Street (Bird Road) to SR 836 (Dolphin Expressway) and SR 90 (Tamiami Trail) from SW 122nd Ave. to East of Snapper Creek Canal Road. Prior to beginning work under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval, two copies of the Contractor's proposed plan and methods for performing the work, including a listing of equipment and personnel anticipated for use. The Contractor shall perform all work during day hours in accordance with the Turnpike Lane Closure Policy. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas. No Pre-Bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
