| Description | Trash/recycling receptacles with sensors installed as well as sensors that could be installed in receptacles purchased separately. Please note that the City’s existing trash and recycling receptacles will not accommodate sensors and must be replaced. There are two primary requirements for the receptacles and sensors: the receptacles must have side-entry for waste hauling and be otherwise enclosed, i.e. no removable lid, and the fill-level sensors need to be capable of operating within a receptacle that includes a liner. |
