2021 Roadway Paving and Reconstruction Project Phase I

The project generally consists of roadway pavement repairs to various portions of Ash Terrace / Kendall Drive intersection, Anne Terrace, Coolidge Avenue, Holly Drive, Miara Street, Pearl Street and Thompson Place roadways located within the Borough of Sayreville. The work involved with these improvements includes the maintenance and protection of traffic; cutting / removal of approximately 2,500 square yards +/- of existing asphalt pavement; roadway milling of approximately 13,500 square yards +/- of existing asphalt pavement; the installation of dense graded aggregate base course, if and where ordered; installation of approximately 1,000 tons +/- of hot mix asphalt base course material; resurfacing the portion of roadways with approximately 1,700 tons +/- of hot mix asphalt surface course material; application of approximately 400 lineal feet +/- of pavement stripes / markings (4" wide lines); furnishing and installation of topsoil / seed, if and where ordered; and all other preparation, restoration and associated work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
