Description

The City seeks a full range of construction services to renovate the approximately 135,000 square foot Arthur D. Healey Schoolyard. The site is adjacent to the Healey School in a densely populated residential neighborhood. It includes the schoolyard, parking lot, and the large slope descending from the school to the Mystic Housing Community below. The scope of work is extensive and includes the new schoolyard, a U-12 Synthetic Turf soccer field, a substantial unit block retaining wall, and a new ADA compliant ramp system descending the slope between the schoolyard and Connors Drive below, in three long segments with connecting staircases.
