Sugarmill Electric Upgrade Directional Bore

Horizontally directional drill (H.D.D.) high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conduit for new primary and secondary electric cable along club house boulevard in the sugar mill development located north of pioneer trail, just east of i-95 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The HDPE conduit shall be smooth wall, gray, SDR 13.5 meeting, at a minimum, ASTM F-2160, ASTM D-3035, NEMA TC-7 and UL-651 specifications. to maximize efficiency, contractor shall size reamer such that multiple conduits can be pulled at one time whenever possible. from each entry and exit pit, the HDPE conduit shall be continuous. there are existing energized conductors throughout the project limits that will remain energized during the drilling operation. at the locations where HDPE conduit is being installed to existing/energized electric equipment, conduit shall stop short 5 feet from the center line of the equipment, terminating 24-inches above finished grade. there are 28 locations that are designated for proposed electric equipment (de-energized applications). contractor shall install the schedule 40 PVC fittings, connect to the HDPE conduit and install the specified pull box, switchgear base or sectionalizing enclosure ground sleeve. the commission will supply the pull box, switchgear base and sectionalizing enclosure ground sleeve.
