36-Inch Water Main Phase V-B

The City of Manassas is soliciting Bids for 36-inch Water Main Phase V-B - Vint Hill Road: Rollins Ford Road to Silas Drive - CIP Project W-042. A. Project Scope: Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 6,225 linear feet of 36-inch water main, 90 linear feet of 12-inch water main, and interconnections to 24-inch and 8-inch water mains. Appurtenant work shall include valves, hydrants, air release manholes, trenchless crossings, corrosion control, water service reconnections, and other miscellaneous work as described in the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Drawings. B. Work included (both Phases): Contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, plant, power, light, heat, fuel, water (except for initial pressure testing and disinfection), tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work. The Contractor shall protect the Work during construction. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work consistent with safety of life and property and in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall clean up the Work and shall maintain it during and after construction and shall do all Work and pay all incidental costs during and after construction. The Contractor shall repair, restore and clean structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during the performance of the Work, at no additional cost to the Owner. C. Contractor's Plant and Equipment: The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the adequacy of his plant and equipment.
