DESCRIPTION: The USDA-Forest Service is soliciting a painting, staining, and fascia replacement project on the Hiawatha National Forest near Munising, MI. The Contractor will be required to provide all transportation, material, labor, supervision, equipment, operators, tools, supplies, licenses, permits and other incidentals as required in the Schedule of Items and Specifications of the solicitation necessary to perform the services. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Interested parties are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required prior to award of a contract. There is no cost for registration in SAM when registration is completed on the official SAM website (www.sam.gov). SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. SCOPE OF CONTRACT The Contractor shall pressure wash existing fascia and exterior of the Munising Ranger District Office Building and Garage. The Contractor shall replace entire rotting 2" x 6" and 1" by 2" fascia cedar planks located on inside corners of the building, up to 96 linear feet. The Contractor shall restain all fascia brown using two coats of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes Solid Acrylic Stain. The Contractor shall paint the exterior brown using two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior Acrylic - Flat. Paint color shall be approved by COR before ordering.
