Description | Project Description: The proposed Hollywood Rd. Extension Bridge project will consist of the construction of a new concrete bridge across Bayou Black in Houma, Louisiana, connecting the Hollywood Rd. Extension and Bayou Black Dr. (LA 182). The proposed bridge project will consist of the following main features: o (4) 21-foot Cast-In-Place Concrete Slab-Spans o 5 Cast-In-Place Concrete Bents o 2 Cast-in-Place Concrete Approach Slabs o (35) 18" Square Prestressed Precast Concrete Piles o 3 Lanes of Traffic with a 50-foot Bridge Clear Width o Traffic Signal Devices at both Bridge Intersections o Road Stripping and Signage o 254 Linear Feet of Steel Sheet Pile Wingwall for Bank Stabilization o (6) Solar Powered Bridge Lights The deadline to submit questions has been extended to Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Any contract(s) awarded under this invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury, RESTORE Act Direct Component. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation to Bids or any resulting contract. All bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Numbers 11246 and 11375 which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the contract work Hours Standard Act. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. The attention of bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements. The successful bidder must submit executed copies of Section 3 Certification of Successful Bidder and Section 3 Plan with Tables A and B prior to contract execution. Minority, female-owned and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Louisiana State Bid Law |
