Description | Sealed Proposals will be received by the Township of Lower Merion for the following: Koegel Complex Electric Vehicle Chargers Contract Number: 4246-22-15 General Construction; Electrical Construction Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document ,A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. Scope of Work The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; excavation, trenching, backfill, and grading; construction of retaining wall; placement of bituminous pavement and concrete pads; installation of guiderail and bollards; installation of electrical panel, transformer, electrical conduits, conductors, and appurtenances; and potential relocation of existing water line. Award is planned at the September 2022 Board of Commissioners meeting with construction anticipated to begin October 2022. Detailed specifications developed by the Pennoni Associates, Inc. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via electronically . The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of Friday, August 26, 2022. Attention is Called to the Fact That Not Less Than the Minimum Salaries and Wages as Set Forth in the Contract Documents Must Be Paid on This Project, and That the Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for the Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their, Race, Color, Religious Creed, Ancestry, Age, Sex, National Origin, Physical or Mental Disability, or Because of a Person Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity or Gender Expression The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the Township. |
