Description | The work of this single bid project includes removing two existing emergency turbine diesel generators from Cooke Hall and Hochstetter Hall, and one diesel generator from Dorsheimer and two associated underground fuel tanks, day tanks, HVAC, roof stack, and all ancillary equipment. Supply two new exterior generators to include walk-in housing, new concrete pad, railing and stairs to support the two generators in the contract and a future installation. Install transfer switches and feeders to a new main emergency power distribution panel board at Cooke Hall. Provide roof repair from stack removals at all three buildings. Temporary and permanent walkways to be installed. Underground conduit to be installed to support the Cooke, Hochstetter and Dorsheimer complex in lieu of individual generators for each building. Remove two underground fuel tanks and all associated equipment. Provide clean fill, seeding, trees and landscaping. Hazardous materials removal is included in the scope of work All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
