Description

Provision of installing string lights on 1st Street from Oak Ave to Sanford Ave. a. Commercial grade string lights from pole to pole as depicted on the attached plan. b. There are 32 runs of approximately 100 feet and 4 runs of approximately 60 feet. c. The City will provide an attachment to the existing street lights that allows a connection at 20 feet above grade. d. The lights should hang no lower than 14 feet above grade to the bottom of the bulb. e. Bidder provides all other materials including lights, support cabling, electrical and hardware. f. Maximum light spacing at 24" along the light string. g. LED, 2700K clear bulbs with minimum 36 lumens h. Required cabling to support the lights based on manufacturer’s recommendations. City provided poles have a ½” dia. through hole for attachment purposes. i. Single phase 120v power is available on each street light pole. Not at the top of the attachment pole. j. Bidder installs all materials. Make sure string lights are secure and in place. k. Bidder should make a site visit prior to bidding. Staff has added two of the pole attachments between Park and Oak Ave. l. Contractor require to follow all OSHA rules and regulations when installing lights. m. Contractors to provide warranty on lights, if lights are defected replace the strings with new lights. n. Provide replacement LED light bulbs, when require.
