Description

To eliminate the hazards associated with the street crossing at the Medical Center Station to the Naval facility on the east side of 355, it was determined that an underground tunnel from the west side of the street to the east side of the street would be installed. The Project includes a new entrance to the Station via high speed elevators and an emergency egress stair on the east side of 355 for ease of access for the Naval facility as well. The County has provisions in their contract for cellular service to the new street pedestrian underpass.
