Improvements to Andrew Place, Vale Road, and Glen Road

The project limits include: the entire length of Andrew Lane; Vale Road; and, Glen Road. The project length is approximately 1,964 linear feet (0.372 miles). The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: resetting existing manholes; replacement of storm inlets and castings; installation of new storm inlets; replacement and installation of new storm manholes; replacement of storm drain pipes; removal of existing curbs and installation of new concrete curbs; removal of existing sidewalks and driveway aprons, and installation of new Portland cement concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons; asphalt milling and road resurfacing; replacement of traffic control signs; and, traffic striping. The main items of construction and approximate quantities include, but are not necessarily limited to: 8,600 square yards of asphalt milling; 1,200 tons of hot mixed asphalt surface course, two (2") inches thick, mix 9.5 M64; installation of sixteen (16) precast concrete storm inlets including new castings; installation of four (4) precast concrete manholes including new castings; installation of 1,065 linear feet of circular RCP pipe of various diameters, 760 linear feet of elliptical concrete pipe (24"x38" and 34"x53"); 1,500 linear feet of solid and perforated HDPE pipe of various diameters; 4,100 linear feet of 9"x18" concrete curbs; 1,200 square yards of four (4`) foot wide Portland cement concrete sidewalks, four (4") inches thick; 600 square yards of Portland cement concrete driveway aprons, six (6") inches thick with reinforcement; and, installation of eight (8) square yards of ADA detectable warning surfaces.
