| Description | Establish a contract for cleaning, testing, and repair of the Motor Control Centers (MCCs) switch gears at Chesterfield County's Proctors Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1200 Coxendale Road, Chester, VA 23836. The plant has two (2) sources of power from Dominion Energy that supply seven (7) Motor Control Centers, with fourteen (14) main breakers that need to be cleaned, tested, and repaired to insure proper function. The breakers are of different manufacturers and of varying age so the work to be performed is going to be different for each one. But not limited to: 1. Remove Covers and gain access to buss assembly. 2. Inspect and wipe down insulator surfaces with denatured alcohol (switch-board tagging required) 3. Vacuum out debris 4. Inspect and lubricate stored energize closing mechanism 5. Determine overcurrent pickups and delays of the trip unit by primary injection testing, and/or determine ground fault overcurrent pickups and delays by secondary current injection testing. 6. Resistance testing of current paths thru breakers Digital Low Resistance Ohmeter (DLRO) 7. Insulation resistance test all phase bus. | ||
