| Description | The Project location is Hazel Prairie Road from County Road S to Oakdale Road. Total length of project roadway is approximately 1 mile. The project includes placement of 6" of gravel, pulverizing the existing pavement into the gravel, prepare and compact, placing hot mix (with a E3 blacktop mix). This should be compacted to a thickness of 2" with an 85% density with a 2% slope from centerline. Additionally a compacted 2' wide gravel shoulder needs to be provided. The successful bidder will be required to supply an Engineer's Certificate certifying the improvement has a 10 year minimum design life. This is an LRIP Project. The Town of Highland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town. |
