| Description | Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and other items and services necessary to harvest pine and hardwood timber at Arnold Air Force Base (Arnold AFB), Tennessee. The sale consists of 1 pine final harvest and 3 pine thinning covering approximately 126.5 acres. For final harvest units, all trees and brush down to 3 inches dbh will be cut. Pine thinning harvests will be executed by removing every 3rd row. Additional thinning may be utilized at the discretion of the base forester, by selectively harvesting inferior trees within the residual rows. All hardwood trees down to 3 inches dbh will be cut in pine thinning units. |
