Description | This project is for the general construction of an approximate 8,000 s.f. one story office building of mixed-use occupancy with mech. mezz. and associated site development - utilities. Construction elements include, but are not necessarily limited to; reinf. cone. ftgs. foundations and slab on grade; ICF ext. walls;, lt ga. metal brg./nonbrg. walls, trusses, and decking; prefin. met. roof' g-sheetmetal; masonry veneer; gyp sheathing and wall board; res. tile; rigid tile; carpet, floor and wall coatings; sat ceilings;sprinkler ystem; plumbing system; HVAC system; special electrical systems, lighting & power system. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid greater than $100,000.00, in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Bid security shall be in the form of a bid bond issued/executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the commonwealth of Kentucky or a certified check. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner and in an amount of 100 percent of the contract amount plus all direct material and equipment values designated in the bid as breakout items to be acquired by the Owner, through the direct purchase order agreement process, will be required ofthe successful Bidder. |
