| Description | This project is to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to maintain and renovate sections of the Main Pier (165 feet), Finger Pier (32 feet), "T" Pier (82 feet) and the Bulkhead (380 feet). The pier sub-structure is constructed from timber or concrete that has begun to degrade. To repair them the decking and timber super structure will be removed allowing the damaged concrete caps or timber piles to be repaired or demolished and replaced. New timber stringers and decking will be constructed and new electrical, lighting, water and fueling services will be installed. The floating piers will be removed and replaced with a concrete floating pier. Both floating docks and gangways will be removed and replaced. The davit pier will be removed and disposed of, as it is no longer needed. The bulkhead is constructed of encased riprap that has cracking and these cracks will be repaired. All work is located at U.S. Coast Guard Station Cortez, 4530 124th Street, Court West, Cortez, FL 34215. | ||
