Description

The Central Utility Plant (CUP) uses one gas turbine generator and two steam turbine generators to produce power for the campus. This project includes the replacement/upgrade of the existing 5 MW Steam Turbine Generator 4 (STG004) along with its auxiliary equipment and balance of plant modifications, including a new surface condenser. The Planning Amount for this project is $26,000,000. The Planning Amount includes an Amount Available for Construction Contract (AACC) of $20,375,000. Fees, furnishings, other work, miscellaneous expenses, and contingencies make up the balance of the Planning Amount.
