Description | This project will implement some of the first phases of construction of the improvements identified in the master plan. A description of the Work to be performed includes: soft surface trails, concrete pads, an incline challenge, gravel parking lot, picnic shelters, a wood overlook deck, and a boulder terrace landing area. The improvements are located in three areas of the Rueter-Hess Reservoir property, which is owned by PWSD. The three areas include 1) the main entry, located south of Hess Road and east of the reservoir, which is accessible from Hess Road at Double Angel Road; 2) the west landing, located south of Hess Road and west of the reservoir, which is accessible from a maintenance access from Hess Road; and 3) the incline challenge and trailhead, located on a 420-acre site owned by PWSD, north of Hess Road and west of the existing PWSD Treatment Plant, which is accessible from Heirloom Parkway. |
