For the purpose of: Tree Removal and Clearing - Firehouse 13 Proposals will be opened at the above specified time and date in the CityCouncil Chambers, Municipal Center West. No proposals will be accepted subsequent to the preceding date and time. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. Bids will not be considered unless they are accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, bank draft, bank money order or a satisfactory bid bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount. All Contracts for the construction of public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Female and Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids for this Contract. Responses to questions proposed will be answered within seven days, not including weekends or holidays. If required, a written response in the form of an addendum will be issued, bidders must review, sign and acknowledge the addendum and provide it with their proposal(s).
