Track Resurfacing

1. Track dimensions are approximately 28’ x 1460 L.F. 2. High Jump area is approximately 100’ x 50’. 3. Pole vault runway is approximately 130 L.F x 4’ wide. 4. Long jump runway is approximately 130 L.F x 4’ wide. 5. Provide milling to remove approximately 1 ½” existing asphalt. 6. Haul all material off site. 7. Remove ingrown grasses from around the track prior to milling (includes high jump area, pole vault runway, and long jump runway). 8. Prep for runways to be replaced with concrete. 9. Prep long jump area for installation of curb around the sand pit 10. Install concrete curb and runway concrete. 11. Provide professional engineer to verify track alignment. 12. Install new asphalt in one lift for total 1 ½” thickness (5E1 Mix). 13. Clean the asphalt running track of any loose or foreign materials. 14. Apply SEAL-FLEX, 6-coat, 3/8-inch stranded rubber and latex surface system on running track and field events, color to be black. 15. Paint new lane lines and event markings according to the MHSAA and in conjunction with the Athletic Department.
