Seal Coating and Striping

The Supplier shall provide completed pavement without bleeding, rutting, shoving, raveling, stripping, or showing other types of pavement distress or unsatisfactory performance. The services shall include but are not limited to, all items listed in these specifications. 1. Seal Coating - See details and products under Seal Master Polymer - Modified Master Seal (PMM) and GAF Durashield Pavement Coating (in standard black and also in solar gray). 2. Primer - If specified by supervisor, SS-1H tack is to be used. It will require five (5) gallons of SS-1H to thirty-five (35) gallons of water. Coverage will be ninety (90) square feet per gallon of the final mix. SS-1H should be mixed and sprayed out of equipment with a built-in agitator. 2. Parking Lot Striping - Parking lots that have been seal coated regardless of the product used shall be striped following Sherwin Williams spread rate coat. The application shall be one coat as per specifications with reflective glass bead using the following products/materials: 1. Sherwin Williams Hotline Traffic Paint (White) #TM2524 2. Sherwin Williams Pro-Park Traffic Paint (Blue) #B97 Series 3. Glass spheres - Potter Industries, Inc. DOT QPL #S971-0004 Type
