Sturgeon River Sloughs Bridge

LEIN CHECK (Dept. of Corrections ONLY) All contractor/vendor representatives attending a Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request five business days prior to the meeting date, (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request form). Send the LEIN Request form, filled out and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith at email address: SmithD76@michigan.gov. The email "Subject" must include (Facility Name, Project Name, Date & Time of Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting). NOTE: An individual is only permitted to represent one bidder at a mandatory walk-through. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Demolish the existing steel bridge with wood deck and remove existing log abutments. Excavate for new abutments, install new concrete abutments with waterproofing, install new steel superstructure, install timber decking and wearing surface, backfill structure, install wood guardrail, install new signs, place gravel approaches, place riprap around the abutments, place erosion control measures, and restore slopes. ACCEPTING QUESTIONS UNTIL: March 2, 2023, 5:00 P.M. EST.
