Description

Option 1: Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Services for JTA First Coast Flyer Greenline: As presently constructed, the FCF Green line is a 10-mile BRT line with 5.5-miles of dedicated lanes. This route services an economically distressed area within Jacksonville which offers a great opportunity to plan for equitable transit-oriented development (TOD). Option 2: Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Services for JTA Commuter Rail: The proposed TOD project would establish a 38.4-mile commuter rail corridor on Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway rail line from Downtown Jacksonville to St. Augustine in St. Johns County. The project is proposed as a maintenance of traffic (MOT)/mitigation strategy for several major projects expected to take place on I-95 in Southern Duval County and Northern St. Johns County.
