Description

Remove and Replace OFCI Lighting at Multiple Sites. This project includes but is not limited removal and replacement of owner furnished lighting at McPherson Magnet School, El Modena Hight School, Villa Park High School and Canyon High School This public works prevailing wage rate Project (Labor Code 1720) is further detailed in the Project documents, is available electronically . The Project documents will govern should there be any conflict with the notice. Bids must be made on forms provided by District and be digitally-signed according to GC 16.5, accompanied by a bid security for 10% of the total bid price, submitted electronically , and received by Due Date. Thereafter, bids will be electronically opened and results will be automatically displayed only, the bidding window is automatically closed and late bids cannot be submitted. Prime contractor must possess valid CSLB contractor license for Class C-10 - Electrical Contractor California State Contractors License (Cal. Code Regs. tit. 16 830) and be registered with the DIR (Labor Code 1725.5). The Contract Time is 14 days. Contractor should consult the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Special Conditions, and General Requirements regarding Milestones and Liquidated Damages. CUPCCAA: This Project is being let in accordance with the informal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) set forth in Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq. (specifically, the informal bidding procedures in Section 22032(b)). Bidders shall comply with any requirements set forth in the CUPCCAA including all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. All contractors submitting bids must be on the Districts current list of approved contractors pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22034 Separate 100% payment and performance bonds are required and shall be in the form set forth in the contract documents. All bonds (bid, performance, and payment) must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. Any additive or deductive alternates to the base bid used to determine the lowest bid will be considered using the method specified in the Notice Inviting Bids and in accordance with Public Contract Code section 20103.8. License Requirements: C-10 - Electrical Contractor Liquidated Damages: $1,500 per calendar day Prime contractors who fail to meet all the preceding requirements, and the PlanetBids and Project document requirements are non-responsive and ineligible for award. Contact with non-Purchasing District personnel will result in immediate disqualification. BASIS FOR AWARD: District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total Project award amount and who provides all the required bonds, insurance, and documents as required in the Project documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received or in the bidding.
